Doors

“The group of sculptural doorways followed a long series of monoprints of doors and windows printed from inked cloth collages. The successive openings offered a way to show the rough edges of thin handmade flax paper, and the shadows they cast. Doorways evok`e thoughts of birth, of transition through time and space, and of separation. For each viewer it is, perhaps, a very different place.” – Marcia Widenor
